The Perfect Selfie!!

There has to be a reason why celebrities are always flawless in their selfies! Sure, a lot of that comes from their extensive makeup and glam squads, but a good selfie queen knows that there are certain precautions you need to take if you want to snap that killer pic! All of those Insta and Snapchat posts leave us wondering one thing: How in the heck do they look SO good??

To me, it’s all about the lighting and the angles. The key to taking a flawless selfie is to lean your head to one side, (or you can just turn your camera). This will capture your best angle, and the lighting will help make sure that your face is being highlighted and shadowed appropriately.

Lighting can seriously make or break a pic! The best way to achieve great selfie lighting is to go outdoors and take advantage of the natural sun – you’re sure to get that perfect glow. Find your angles, hold your camera high, and don’t be afraid to practice (we won’t always get the ideal picture on the first try!).

You’re beautiful just the way you are, but a little bit of highlighter and light makeup can go a long way when it comes to flash photography! The slight head tilt ensures that every inch of makeup is being appreciated and flaunted – just like you!
